Tessmann was linked with a move from Venezia to Inter earlier this summer with the Serie A champions keen on the United States midfielder. Gianluca DiMarizo reported that Inter wanted to sign the midfielder contingent on a deal to send Tessmann back to Venezia for the 2024/25 season on loan.
