PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. \- A Tampa man was killed in a violent high-speed crash that happened Saturday at around 10:45 pm. According to Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle operated by a 33-year-old Tampa man was traveling eastbound on US-92 (Gandy Bridge), approaching the Hillsborough County line at a very high rate of speed. Troopers say a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 48-year-old St. Petersburg man, was traveling eastbound on US-92 ahead of the bike.
