The Poco Pad will be presented on May 23 in Dubai. The tablet will be announced on the global market along with Poco F6 and F6 Pro. Previously, the Poco Pad with model number 2405CPCFBG was spotted on certification platforms such as SDPPI (Indonesia), TDRA (UAE), IMDA (Singapore) and EEC (Europe). Here’s an overview of what you can expect from the company’s first ever tablet.
According to reports, the Poco Pad will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro, which recently debuted in China. The tablet is expected to have a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and brightness of up to 600 nits. The tablet may have an aluminum back panel and frame. The front will be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3.
Poco Pad can be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It can come with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For more storage, a microSD card slot may be provided. The tablet may have a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It can run Android 14 based on HyperOS. For audiophiles, the tablet can have four speakers.
It may have an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The device is unlikely to support mobile communications, which means it could be a Wi-Fi only device. The tablet may have stylus support and an additional keyboard. There is currently no information on the price of the device.
