A Staffordshire bull terrier which reportedly sunk its teeth into a child on a bus has prompted a police probe. The incident is said to have happened on a bus in Sturry Road, Canterbury at about 7.40pm on August 10. A young girl suffered cuts, not believed to be serious, following the alleged attack. The dog is described as a black or brown Staffordshire terrier-type. Police are now appealing for information in a bid to help their inquiries.
