Police are continuing to review CCTV footage of an audacious early morning ram-raid on a town centre bank and have yet to make any arrests. Crooks struck at Nationwide Building Society in Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth on Tuesday April 23 and video footage taken by a resident showed them using a telehandler forklift truck to rip the cash machine from the building. The machine was lowered on to a pick-up truck, stolen from the nearby car park of the George IV pub, before the gang of at least three men drove away.
