The German manufacturer of wind turbine systems, Nordex, said on Thursday that various customers had placed orders for around 172 MW. The largest contract is to supply 11 turbines of the N163/6.X type to a wind farm operator from Badbergen/Dinklage, in the districts of Osnabrück and Vechta in north-western Germany. This project is under construction. The contract also includes a premium service contract with a 20-year term. The 74.8 MW Bünne-Wehdel wind farm already supplied by Nordex is scheduled for commissioning in fall 2025.
