Bishop’s Stortford schoolgirl Darcie Wharfe has raised more than £500 for the Little Princess Trust and donated her long locks. The nine-year-old, who attends Windhill21 primary, had 12 inches lopped off her hair for the charity which provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as alopecia.
