Despite losing 2-1 against Liverpool, there were quite a few Chelsea players who put in good performances. Reece James did not look rusty at all for someone who was playing his first game of the season, while Romeo Lavia also put in a confident display for Enzo Maresca‘s side. It was Nicolas Jackson, though, who scored Chelsea‘s only goal of the match, which was his fifth of the season.
