Soft Cell super-fan Ange Chan’s love for the 1980s synth-pop duo helped her give back to the hospice that provided such precious care for her late husband Steve – to the tune of £10,000. Ange, from Sawbridgeworth, has been a fan of the band – best known for their number one smash hit Tainted Love – since 1981.
