A driver caught swerving across the road after taking to the wheel having had a drink learned a tough lesson on Thursday. William Tough, 19, pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A1067 in Pensthorpe on June 1, when he appeared before Lynn magistrates. Nicola Lamb, prosecuting, outlined how police had spotted Tough driving his BMW and swerving in the carriageway. As a result, he was stopped and Tough admitted he had consumed some alcohol and failed a roadside breath test.
