A man who had a drink for ‘Dutch courage’ when planning to kill himself was caught by police after a tip-off. Nicola Lamb, prosecuting, told Lynn magistrates on Thursday, that Peter Dimotrijevic, 63, of Saxon Way, Dersingham, was stopped on Lynn Road in Hunstanton on May 28 this year by police. She said officers had received a tip-off about a possible drink-driver and they located the vehicle with Dimotrijevic still occupying it.
