Chesterton Eagles FC had two causes for celebration at the weekend. Established in 1998, Saturday’s end-of-season event at the Chesterton Recreation Ground provided members with the opportunity to mark the club’s 25-year anniversary. And it also proved to be the ideal setting to show appreciation to Tim and Ania Anderson, who have stepped down from their respective posts of chairman and club development officer after 15 years of service.
