On Tuesday evening Newcastle United’s pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi took another big twist, one that perhaps suggested that a deal was becoming impossible. Despite several bids, Newcastle are struggling to agree a fee with Palace for Guehi, who Steve Parish is not willing to sell cheaply.
