Pressure is mounting on Sergio Perez to defend his seat after crashing during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Mexican was attempting to improve from ninth place when light rain started to hit the track, causing it to become greasy in the closing stages of Q1. Exiting the Turn 8 chicane, Perez caught the kerb and spun around a high speed into the barriers causing significant damage to the rear of his RB20.
