Ukrainian forces have halted a Russian attack in the Kharkiv region in the north-east of the country, Kharkiv military governor Oleh Syniehubov said on Monday. The front currently ran roughly along the Vovcha River which bisects the town of Vovchansk, Syniehubov told national television.
