Police in Germany were examining “vast quantities” of digital media on Thursday after carrying out a series of searches relating to child pornography in the eastern city of Halle. A police spokesman said that that a large haul of computer media had been found during the raids. Prohibited weapons and small quantities of illegal drugs were also seized.
