Beirut was rocked by several Israeli air strikes on Friday afternoon which were reported to have killed a senior Hezbollah figure and at least 12 others and injured more than 60 people. The Israeli military said the “targeted strike” on south Beirut killed Ibrahim Aqil head of the elite Radwan unit and ten other fighters, though Hezbollah has not yet commented on the reports.
