Rail services have ground to a halt due to a landslip. The incident near Maidstone East means services from Ashford to London which travel via the railway station cannot run. These trains will now be diverted at Paddock Wood and will call at Headcorn and Otford then as usual. Services between Maidstone East and Charing Cross are unaffected. Southeastern says tickets are being accepted on Stagecoach bus route 10X between Ashford and Maidstone East.
