A civic society will be having a special visitor giving a talk. Lynn Civic Society will be visited by Dr Francesca Saggini on Thursday, March 7 at the Great Hall at Thoresby College in town. She is a professor in English Literature at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia (Viterbo), in Italy, and one of the world’s foremost authorities on the literature of Fanny Burney, satirical novelist, diarist, and playwright.
