The U.S. Supreme Court declined to lift sanctions against attorneys Sidney Powell and Lin Wood after they challenged Donald Trump’s loss in Michigan’s 2020 presidential election. In separate appeals, the two pro-Trump attorneys asked the court to revisit their lawsuits filed after the 2020 election. The lawsuits alleged an election conspiracy that they said was connected to China and Venezuela.
