The Akwa Ibom Government has said it has initiated precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of cholera in the state. The state Commissioner for Health, Prof Augustine Umoh, disclosed this in an interview with NAN in Uyo on Friday. Umoh said that the state government has commenced sensitisation of residents in all 31 local government areas of the state on the need to maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
