The Newbury District PSFA (Primary School Football Association) Girls side had a successful trip to Barcelona last week, facing sides from across Europe in the Barcelona Girls Cup. Held at the Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou in Southern Catalonia, the squad competed in the seven-a-side category for twelve year olds. Newbury District were placed in Group B, kicking off with a comfortable three nil win against Irish side Kilnamanagh AFC.
