The Jersey City police and fire departments are hitting the streets next week to connect with residents across the city. The “Rock the Block” parties will be held in each district from June 24 to June 27, weather permitting, to boost community relations, city officials said. The free events, one in each police precinct, will allow families and residents to meet and mingle with police officers and firefighters.
