Russia’s close ally Belarus has initiated major military manoeuvrers in two regions: one bordering Poland and the other near Russia, both of which also border Ukraine. The Ministry of Defence in Minsk did not provide any information on the number of soldiers and technology involved on Friday. It was reported, in a ministry statement on Instagram, that operational command units, special forces, missile troops, artillery, air force and air defence were involved.
