German police are investigating a shooting at a watch shop in Cologne on Saturday as possibly having a connection with a recent series of explosions in the city, a police spokesman said. Initial findings suggest that, shortly after 4 am (0200 GMT), an unidentified person fired more than 20 shots from a fully automatic weapon at the facade of the building in the Niehl district, and then fled.
