Olympic champion Petra Vlhova of Slovakia has suffered a season-ending knee injury after crashing out of the first run of the World Cup giant slalom race on home soil in Jasna. Vlhova, who won slalom gold at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, went down on her inside ski early in the first run before being pitched off the snow and into the safety net.
