A suspected Islamic State supporter has been placed in remand custody for allegedly planning an attack on the Israeli embassy in Berlin. An investigating judge at the Federal Court of Justice in the south-western city of Karlsruhe has issued a formal arrest warrant for the man, a Libyan, a spokeswoman for the German Federal Prosecutor told dpa on Sunday evening.
