LAKELAND, Fla. — The notion that the Tigers are trying to “fix” Jack Flaherty seems wonky. You don’t go out and sign a starting pitcher for $14 million if you think he’s broken. Flaherty is 28 years old and almost two years removed from any serious injury. His fastball still hums in at 93-94 mph.
