In the race to become a dominate tech company in the coming generation of AI software, OpenAI rival Anthropic has released a new version of Claude, a chatbot that has now doubled in speed. The Claude 3.5 Sonnet model is particularly good at writing software code and formulating texts, said product manager Michael Gerstenhaber at the launch on Thursday.
