A man has been arrested just 17 minutes after a stolen motorbike was involved in a crash. Police were initially called last Friday (May 17) at 7.20pm to a report that a garage had been broken into in Hutsford Close, Gillingham. It was also reported a man had stolen a motorbike from inside. The vehicle was then involved in a collision with a car, near Gleaming Wood Drive in Lordswood. At 7.37pm – just 17 minutes later – a 20-year-old man from Chatham was arrested in connection with the theft.
