US duo Taylor Fritz and Ben Sheldon tied things up for Team World at the Laver Cup on Friday after a straight sets defeat over Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev. Fritz and Sheldon overcame the Spaniard and the German in one hour and 35 minutes 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Earlier, Grigor Dimitrov defeated Alejandro Tabilo 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-2) in two hours and 15 minutes to give Team Europe the lead in Berlin. Team World won the first point as Francisco Cerundolo defeated Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-4 in the opening match. But Stefanos Tsitsipas levelled the tie with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Thanasi Kokkinakis.
