Motorists who left their cars parked on double yellow lines over the weekend were issued tickets by patrolling police officers. The culprits were found on Union Street, Blackfriars Road and Hill Street, where four cars were found to be parking illegally. Officers said via the Policing Fenland page: “There are plenty of places to park around the town centre where you won’t be obstructing pedestrians and other road users, so please utilise these to avoid returning to a ticket from us. “It was lovely to see so many of you out and about and to talk to you about any concerns you may have.” The tick…
