Donald Trump’s own campaign staff members were likely “cringing” after the former president’s remarks at the Republican National Convention, according to someone who worked in his White House. Former Mike Pence Homeland Security staffer Olivia Troye appeared on MSNBC, and was asked about Trump going “off the rails” in his RNC speech and repeating many of his regular talking points.
