A US MQ-9 military drone has been shot down off the Yemeni coast in the Red Sea, according to the Pentagon. Initial findings suggest the drone was hit by a missile launched by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia on Monday, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said in Washington on Tuesday.
