A huge emergency response descended on a town centre following reports an “empty van” struck a man in a town centre. The collision happened in Hardres Street in Ramsgate at about 2.45pm today. Police and ambulance crews are at the scene. The vehicle is understood to have also hit a signpost in the crash. Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for more information.
