Lithuania passed a tax package to finance a further increase in defence spending on Thursday, as the Baltic states steel themselves against Moscow, with Russia’s war on Ukraine raging on. The Lithuanian parliament increased corporate tax and excise duties on alcohol, tobacco and fuel by a large majority, with several legislative amendments.
