Getting a good night’s sleep can cut the risk of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), researchers have found. A healthy lifestyle, including getting enough exercise, may also help prevent the condition developing, they suggested. IBS affects the digestive system and symptoms include stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.
