POLK COUNTY, Fla. \- Polk County Jail inmate Keyshawn Wilson, already in custody on unrelated charges, now faces 46 new charges linked to vehicle burglaries and thefts that occurred in Winter Haven’s Jan Phyl Village area between April and May 2024. Fingerprint evidence from a recovered stolen vehicle led Polk County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Investigators to identify Wilson as the suspect. During an interview, Wilson confessed to his involvement in the crimes, admitting to stealing money and selling one of the two firearms he took.
