An undersea cable hundreds of kilometres long is to be laid between Germany and Britain by 2028 to make it easier to trade and distribute electricity. Germany’s Economy Minister Robert Habeck will attend a groundbreaking ceremony at the German landing point of the new electricity line in Wilhelmshaven on the North Sea coast on Tuesday at 10:30 am (0830 GMT).
