SpaceX has successfully launched the Indonesian satellite Merah Putih 2 into orbit, according to SpaceX’s Twitter page. The Falcon 9 rocket was launched from the 40th launch pad at the U.S. Space Force base in Florida at 22:11 Kyiv time. Approximately 34 minutes later, the satellite was successfully placed into a geostationary orbit. The satellite is designed to provide signal transmission over Indonesia, India, and areas of South and Southeast Asia adjacent to them. It is expected to have a lifespan of 15 years.
