Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Palestinian militant organization Hamas’ political bureau, in Istanbul on Saturday to discuss a ceasefire in the ongoing Gaza war, state broadcaster TRT reported.
