Firefighters were busy overnight following another hot day in Kent. First, crews were called to a shed alight in Beltring Road, Paddock Wood shortly before 6.50pm. Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended with crews extinguishing the flames at 10.20pm. No injuries were reported and the cause remains unknown. Reports of a fire which had spread to three sheds were made at 7.01pm Crews attended Cornwall Close in Maidstone and extinguished the blaze within an hour.
