Spanish police raided offices of the nation’s football federation RFEF and other properties, and carried out seven arrests, the Guardia Civil confirmed to dpa on Wednesday. The probe is reportedly in connection with suspected corruption and money laundering, and the searches were ordered by an investigating judge in Majadahonda who has been probing suspicious contracts during Luis Rubiales’ term as RFEF president.
