Mathys Tel has named Mesut Ozil as the smartest player of all-time. The Bayern Munich striker was speaking to Goal on TikTok where he was asked to build his ultimate footballer based on a number of attributes. As you can imagine, Tel picked the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for their amazing right and left feet respectively, but when it came to a footballing brain, Tel says that Ozil was the best in history.
