Judy Garland’s hometown is raising money to buy a pair of the ultra-rare ruby slippers she wore in ‘The Wizard of Oz’. The footwear worn by the late actress – who was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1922 – was stolen from a local museum and then later turned over to an auction company, and locals are now drumming up cash to bring them back to the city.
