Enthusiastic youngsters rolled up their sleeves as part of a project to put more greenery into their town. Scouts, Beavers, police cadets and army cadets from Swaffham congregated at land off Orford Road last weekend to plant a wide variety of saplings. A total of 315 young trees were put in place after being handed over by the Woodland Trust, with pupils from Heartwood CE VC Primary School also helping out.
