Defence Secretary Grant Shapps has been urged to address MPs over a humiliating nuclear missile misfire. The Royal Navy’s Trident missile test failed just eight years after the last unsuccessful attempt. It resulted in the missile crashing into the ocean just yards from the British nuclear submarine that launched it.
