Three people have been arrested in connection with a fatal crash at the weekend. Thames Valley Police is appealing for dash cam footage or witnesses to the collision on the A33 at 4.06pm on Saturday (April 20) to come forward. Two vehicles, a black Astra and a blue VW golf, were both travelling southwards on the A33 between Mereoak Park and Ride and the Wellington Country Park roundabout. The Astra lost control, leaving the carriageway and crashing into trees. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Basingstoke, was declared dead at the scene.
