The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said there was no growth in sales in February, down from 3.6% growth in January. The ONS said a “mild but wet” month, especially in southern England, affected sales. Food shops saw their sales drop by 0.3% during the month, with shopkeepers saying the weather kept people away.
