InterContinental Hotels Group on Tuesday said its revenue per available room (RevPAR), a key industry metric, increased 1.5% for the third quarter, primarily driven by growth in demand. The group, whose brands include Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites and InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, said RevPAR rose 4.9% in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa (EMEAA) and 1.7% in the Americas.
